Cafe 143, Bronte

Operated by world-renowned barista Charles Babinski from NYC, Cafe 143 offers a place to sit, eat and relax in the heart of Bronte.                     

The refurbishment activates an existing laneway by introducing indoor/outdoor seating, providing an opportunity for takeaway, dine in and also a fresh produce market pop-up from Bilpin Springs Farm every Wednesday. 

Reclaimed furniture, industrial fixtures and recycled timber sourced locally is used throughout. Open-concept seating areas provide secluded nooks for quiet moments.

The cut out design of the counter is inspired by Charles’ favourite Russian folklore illustrator, Ivan Bilibin.
